Plucene search backend

I wonder if any of you are lovely enough to have a look at this for me. I've been trying to get Simon's Plucene search backend to work, but I'm hitting a problem that I can't seem to figure out. Take a look at http://the.earth.li/~kake/code/CGI-Wiki-0.55_01.tar.gz (If you don't have Plucene::Simple installed then the plucene.t test in there will fail. This is not the problem.) 017_delete_version.t is failing with the Plucene backend and I really can't figure out why. The minimal test case that I can get to fail is the final test in plucene.t, so take a look at that first. If I comment out any one of the node writes, the test passes. If I add extra node writes, the test passes. If I delete one of the nodes entirely instead of just a single version, the test passes. Also, if I revert the delete_node sub of CGI::Wiki back to the one in 0.54, ie change if ( my $search = $self->search_obj ) { # Remove old data. $search->delete_node( $args{name} ); # If we have any versions left, index the new latest version. my $new_current_content = $self->retrieve_node( $args{name } ); if ( $new_current_content ) { $search->index_node( $args{name}, $new_current_content ); } } back to if ( my $search = $self->search_obj ) { my $new_current_content = $self->retrieve_node( $args{name } ); if ( $new_current_content ) { $search->index_node( $args{name}, $new_current_content ); } else { $search->delete_node( $args{name} ); } } then the test passes - but this isn't useful because I made that change in order to ensure that old versions are removed from the search indexes (ie to make other bits of 017_delete_version.t pass). Help? Kake

Fresh to a CPAN mirror near you: CGI::Wiki 0.52 and CGI::Wiki::Kwiki 0.50. CGI::Wiki's list_recent_changes method now accepts the parameters 'include_all_changes' (if a node has been changed more than once, return it more than once) and 'between_days' (return all changes between 1 and 2 days ago, for example). CGI::Wiki::Kwiki now takes advantage of this to show changes up to 30 days ago, categorised nicely as 'last 24 hours', 'last week', 'last fortnight', 'last 30 days'. passing active database handles vs params

Is there a reason why the various ::Setup and ::Store classes don't take an active database handle in addition to taking a set of connection parameters? I'm working on embedding CGI::Wiki into OpenInteract2 and it would be mighty convenient to pass already-open database handles around to the various wiki components. a few initial questions

Hi all, I've been mucking about with CGI::Wiki 0.51_01 on and off for a bit. I really like how you've abstracted out the important parts of building a wiki, but I have a few questions: 1) The 'content' schema has a field 'comment', but I couldn't find a place this is actually set. Is this a placeholder for future functionality or has it been replaced by metadata and just didn't get dropped from the schema? 2) I didn't find a CGI::Wiki::Store method to fetch all previous versions (version + modification date + comment) of an existing node. I coded one up myself (easy), but I just wanted to check and see if I missed anything. 3) Also related to versioning, has anyone developed a diff viewer for node content? 4) I saw mumblings from a few months back about a TWiki formatter, but no code.
