Hi, I've eventually managed to persaude Zeus to work alongside Zope and Squishdot (turns out I forgot to compile the pcgi wrapper which of course, is vital in executing the Zope.cgi script - d'oh!!!), so I hope that Mark will be able to upload the existing website from freezope within the next day or so (barring any difficulties with my default install of Zope/Squishdot). I'm still awaiting to hear back from the lug.org.uk folks with getting DNS and MX records updated, but I hope this should go through by tomorrow at the latest so that everything is pointing in the right direction. Meetings

Well, it would seem that the IRC meetings are still going on, despite my lack of attendance. Just to remind the newcomers who have subscribed since the website went live, they're on eu.openprojects.net in #alug every Monday at 2000 UK time. Feel free to drop in and get real-time help while we wait for the main meetings to back into their rhythm. (Any news, anyone?) MJR

Ports tree

Does anyone know of a BSD-ish ports tree being developed for Linux? Either currently, or a project in the past? Is it worthwhile, or does a suitably structured source directory and some discipline make it irrelevant? MJR
