Is this a FAQ? (Books)

David, why don't you write a page about the various book things, ie the library system and the discount deals? This could then be linked into the FAQ "What does ALUG do?"... Also, the meetings part of that answer should link to the meetings page and the mailing lists/IRC bit to the "Join us" page. But I'll graciously let someone else add them ;-) Thanks!

It is a black art I haven't mastered completely, it is not unknown to sit with a signal stoping 10' short of where you want to be whilst 1000' away you get a brilliant signal! Reminds me of a friend who was involved in york uni radio and they got a call from dubia as the signal had bounced off the ionisphere and was crystal clear in dubai! We don't need to masq or anything as far as the IP layer is concerned all you will see is one big subnet, the wireless stuff all works at the MAC layer, which is why its so fun. The IP stuff is easy, just need a DHCP server at one end and a big hub at each end. Adam and list, I noticed that with Marks website rebuild the FAQ has appeared. First impressions are that I am impressed, even if I am quoted for saying Linux is a five letter work :o) But I did notice a couple of things: 1) You say we're aren't a secret society etc... if we aren't why was it you insisted on that weird initiation ceromony for the newbies at the last meet ? :o) 2) What happened to my answer to the Will I be lynched for using question? it is a genuine question I got asked by one of our token OpenBSD users ? 3) One to add: What do you do on IRC? Not sure of the best answer for this one can anyone suggest anything better than my normal answer of "Well chat, what else?" 4) Mark: can we add a members page with Name, Email, homepage, Picture, small description etc...?
