This is highly experimental. Don't be surprised if I get fed up of updating it. It's dual-purpose - first, it'll give new vegans or people thinking about becoming vegan an idea of what a real actual vegan eats day-to-day; and second, it'll encourage me to cook properly instead of living on toast.
Wasn't well for most of this week, so while I did do some cooking, I didn't do very much, and I didn't update this at all, so I've forgotten most of the details now. I did try out a nice semolina bread recipe, a quick and easy bread recipe using soya flour, a tomato and herb spread from the Uncheese Cookbook, and a Red Dragon Pie recipe from SOAR (like Shepherd's Pie but with aduki beans and rice instead of the mince). These need a bit more testing, but they'll all appear on the site at some point.
Saturday's breakfast was nice - we did a German-style breakfast buffet with fresh coffee, orange juice, home-made bread, fresh tomatoes, tomato and herb "cheeze" spread, papaya, plain soya yogurt and wheatgerm.
