Hi! I am trying to make an AP using Orinoco Gold Cards and Avaya Silver pairs as well. When I am using the "iwconfig eth1 commit" command I am receiving the subjected error, namely "Commit Changes" 8B00: Set Failled on device eth1 ? operation not supported I would appreciate you help. I'm sorry I haven't been answering questions on this list, and that it's been filling up with spam. Both problems should be solved now... I've just released Sisela 0.2. You can download it at: http://the.earth.li/~martin/sisela/download/sisela-0.2.img This release adds an SSH2 server and a DNS caching/forwarding server. It should also automatically detect all your network devices now. If you've got an existing boot.sh file, take out any lines related to loading modules or starting cardmgr and it should work. With only a couple of exceptions, every PCI/ISA/PCMCIA/CardBus network driver in Linux 2.4.22 is now included. The disk image is now built automatically. You can download the source package and build it yourself if you like: http://the.earth.li/~martin/sisela/download/sisela-0.2.tar.gz (unpack it, type 'make', and find the various other packages it needs when it complains. hi, thanx martin for this tiny little damn good working piece of linux distrib! i wonder if there will be any version higher than 0.0.1 ;) ? i'd like to know, how i could pack an sshd into the disc?? and - is there a chance to replace the udhcpcd with something else, which gets after reconnect to the LAN a new ip, means which tries to get a new ip from the local dhcpd after a reconnect .. (reason: the people who have the big antenna on the roof disconnect it on every storm, and after reconnecting the local router accepts only clients, which got a dhcp ip from it. problem: pass to router is lost, so no change on this side :() regards. kloschi

Hi, Wondering if sisela could recognise my system with multiple 3com cards. I am quiet news in this area, therefore I request some help. I don't kwow where the problem might be. Is it either the system, sisela or whether I must do some tweaking. My system is an old P75 with 32M, no hard disks (purpose of the router) and I inserted 4 network cards. But there is only one that runs. Is it worth to use sisela with this config? or the system by itself is not capable to run with multiple network cards. (Maybe I am lacking some network know-how, but I thouhght a pc with multiple cards would run and recognise the different cards.) Is it somehting I should do with the bios here ?? Thanks for help.
