I'm one of the millions who enjoy (?) playing Wordle. But I like it in dark mode. If I try to save the url in Firefox [ like this: https://www.nytimes.com/games/wordle/index.html ] so I view it in that mode every time, I cannot. It reverts to the general New York Times one, like this - www.nytimes.com. None of the stuff after the forward strokes. What can I do? (Firefox version 155.) Googling has not helped at all. Bev

Hi Bev, Maybe it's a cookie issue. Take a look at the cookies it's trying to place, and if they are blocked by a plugin, allow them specifically. Cheers, Laurie. -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- Laurie Brown laurie@brownowl.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------
For info I have tried saving it in Troubleshooting mode (nothing) and uninstalling then re-intstalling Firefox. (nothing.) Bev On Sep 8 2026, at 4:50 am, Bev Nicolson <wildthistle@gmx.co.uk> wrote:

You could try clicking to the left of the link bar. I have a setting there which is "advanced tracking protection". Try clicking this off? S On Fri, 11 Sept 2026 at 15:50, Bev Nicolson <wildthistle@gmx.co.uk> wrote:

Alas, that didn't work either. Could it be a bug? Bev. On Sep 11 2026, at 5:23 pm, Steve Mynott <steve.mynott@gmail.com> wrote:

No, user error. Tsk. Further googling (actually DuckDuckGo) returns a page from Mozilla. In response to someone else having the same issue, another poster (or someone from Mozilla, no idea) advises them that having the custom history box checked won't honour the exceptions setting. Have altered that, and bingo. Thank you for your patience. Bev On Sep 11 2026, at 8:04 pm, Bev Nicolson <wildthistle@gmx.co.uk> wrote:
