I have recently upgraded my Debian Potato system to 'Testing' and, as that includes KDE2, KDE1 has been upgraded to KDE2 (2.2.2-14). In trying to run some applications (only a few) I get the following message: relocation error: /usr/lib/libkdeui.so.3: undefined symbol: styleChange__8QTool It's always the same message with the same symbol. Does anyone know why this should happen? Barry Samuels
Hi Barry When I upgraded my KDE to 2.2.2, I found one application was not picking up on it's config options. After running ldconfig with no success, I downgraded kde-base to 2.2.1 which cured the problem. I suspect you too may have a similar problem, so it might be worth reverting just this one package. Another interesting point is that I can run kppp under KDE2 without problems but if I try to run it under, for example, IceWM I get the same error message. That shouldn't really happen. Regards Barry Samuels
