Hello!
I just thought I'd introduce myself as a new subscriber.
My name is Simon. I am 28 years old. And my favourite colour is purple. Or is it brown?
Anyway, I'm living in the scourge of the home counties (Essex), using a 486DX2-66 based PC with RedHat Linux 6.0 (and Windows 98). The PC was cobbled together out of bits (thrown out in my direction, bought second hand, bought new...) and is (incompletely) networked to an IBM RS/6000 250 (which is running AIX 3.2.5).
Erm, right now that's all I can think of to say!

Thanks for the invitation! I would have gone along, but I didn't discover ALUG until too late for me to be able to attend. I will try to get to the next one.

Hi. I'm having trouble writing CDs that are readable under Windoze. (The beermats read just find under Linux.) I'm using: mkisofs -r -J -hide-joliet-trans-tbl -o image.big master_dir/ cdrecord speed=4 dev=0,4,0 -data image.big
Any ideas?
