Jo, you've out-virgoed me! (list update). Does anyone know with mIRC what happens after the trial month? It strongly suggests I register, does this mean "pay money"? Thanks, Jen.

heh! :) I guess you'd need to look on their website. I suspect money will be involved, it usually is. Might not be much though, you never know. You could always switch to another (free) client... If you are looking for a free 'doze client you may like to look into either Visual IRC http://www.megalith.co.uk/virc/, or the 'doze port of xchat http://www.theripper.org.uk/xchat/ . I use both, I prefer xchat, but it has its problems when running under 'doze. --- Paul Tansom: Talking to penguins can be inTUXicating, whereas talking to windows is only 1 step away from talking to the wall! --- Smoothwall firewall/router project: http://www.smoothwall.org/ Smoothwall project community contact: community@smoothwall.org

Yes it does, if anyone knows of a free and easy (probably mutually exclusive in the windows world!) to use Windows client I'll change the reminder to reflect this. Ah ha! now, you see, I do know of a beta IRC client for windows which is *completely* free, I got a mail from somewhere about it the other day :) http://www.yeepa.org/ Dunno how good it is, its very rare for me to use windows, and even more rare for me to use an IRC client in windows...epic4 on a nux box is far nicer for me, which reminds me, must do some more to my script. Cheers, Brett
