I know that some people here are interested in audio and others use get-iplayer. So perhaps those people might like to look at this site - http://www.audiomisc.co.uk/BBC/AudioFactory/AudioFactory.html which will give them some information relating to the changes that the BBC are making to audio on streams and also what changes might need to be made to get_iplayer code in order to fetch data in the future.
