I'm using Kopete with the Jabber server's MSN gateway. Whenever I go online or
away, the server sends me these messages:

Is anyone aware of a method to disable these annoying messages?

I'm not aware, no, but it's annoying me as well (using Psi.) If you
find a solution, do share :-)
