Thanks to some scripts from Dom, a couple of hours feeding CDs into my drives and a few hours playing with the Amazon web-services API, I now have a rather pretty summary of my music collection.
If you have any suggestions about how to improve it, let me know. And if you buy any from the Amazon links I'll get a few pence to put towards growing the collection.
Currently I'm thinking of some way of showing why there are duplicate images for the two CDs in a boxed set. Not sure what to do there without making the scripts more complicated and in need of more manual intervention.
Oh, and then I will try something similar for my DVD collection, but that will require more manual work, as there isn't really a CDDB for DVDs.
