Kake's Links
This isn't my bookmarks file. It's a better-organised merge of my
Netscape and lynx bookmarks files. The cookery links, book links and music links live elsewhere.

These are the better references and tools I've found for stuff I'm
currently trying to learn. Politics of free software, accessible
websites, etc, are in another section I haven't compiled
yet. Interesting things that aren't even slightly widely supported
yet, like MathML, are in another another section I haven't compiled
yet.

- Buying Clothes:
<rant>I hate clothes shopping. I want to buy my clothes on the
interweb or over the phone. They don't have to be fancy, just in
sensible colours (eg black, or maybe black) and that fit right.
Why are so many of the online clothes shops I can find *completely
broken*? Debenhams, M&S, broken. BhS, hasn't even got online ordering,
or at least not that I can find. Bah. The ones below are OK
though (note that because I live in the UK, these are ones that charge
in pounds sterling and deliver to the UK).</rant>
- Cotton Traders - nice,
I got some tops from them and they arrived within two days and were
very nice, and good quality, good price,
although I would have put them at a size smaller than
they claimed to be, comparing them with my other clothes. I ordered over
the phone, not tried over the web yet.
- figleaves.com - buy underwear
online. You get a £5 voucher off your first purchase, which is nice.
The search function does work, but it's probably best not to search
on too many criteria, since if it can't match them all it returns
partial matches but in no particular order. I ordered three pairs of
knickers from them for £16.50 (£11.50 with the discount) and
they arrived the next day and they fitted and they were Nice.
