Don't despair of trying out that wetsuit Victoria (and how uncharitable that you should be laughed at when trying it on at home!)

I could do Monday or Wednesday evening next week (13th or 15th September), but given that you are free earlier on Monday, could I suggest 6:30pm on Monday from the French Horn at Sonning Eye ?  From the other posting by Pam, it looks like she may be available Monday as well ?  Anyone else up for this ?

I'm also available from about 5:30pm Saturday or Sunday this weekend if you or anyone else is interested in meeting up - perhaps to do the next stretch along at Mapledurham.

I don't think I'll be able to do next weekend (18th / 19th) and having said in a OSS RATS post that I can do all evenings next week except Tuesday, I now realise I can't actually do Thursday or Friday, so in fact only Monday or Wednesday... (!)

I hope the Mapledurham swim went well.  It's a lovely stretch.  I haven't been as far as the lock so I'm looking forward to hearing about it.

Anyone have a preference for a swim next week from Sonning?  Helen and I can do Monday or Wednesday evening - I'm free on Monday from around 6.30 and on Wednesday around 7.00 -  or if anyone's free the following weekend Saturday 18th in the afternoon looks ok, as does Sunday 19th morning.  It would be great to have a swim as my wetsuit is desperate to have its first dip, and all I've had at home is peals of hysterical laughter when I've tried it on on dry land.

 Yes - option 3 walk and then swim gets my vote as well.  (We can always get out a bit early if we feel like it and the remaining walk will be shorter.)

   I'm starting to wonder if the OSSrats email list was such a good idea, as we're now potentially discussing swims in three places - Oxon and RATS email groups, plus the OSS facebook pages! I thought that all the Berkshire activity might get wearisome for people in north Oxon, though... perhaps it will get more straightforward once all the interested parties join OSSRATS.
