Hi all Once again I am slightly confused, this time I am blaming it on my fall after the shower at Shifford Lock, I always knew cleanliness was overrated. Cause of confusion: Which swims did you complete in the rain on Sunday 12th June? Vivien Adam, Andrew Sansum and I did a catch up but which swims did we complete and what was the date of this swim? I will not be able to sleep tonight unless these questions are answered. This is my normal remedy however the thought of my 'I Love the Thames' book lagging so far behind Vivien's means a sleepless night is nigh. I am just about to force youngest daughter to cut and paste Chris' Garmin maps into pages for swims 16 & 18, can this be construed as child cruelty? Luckily no clamp on car at The Trout at Tadpole Bridge and hand brake turn in car park meant I escaped angry landlady, arrived back at the Swan at Radcot to find family had thoroughly enjoyed carvery but lunch was no longer being served, so it was cold Jalfreizi on return home Yet another very enjoyable weekend. Dear all, I've put up what photos I have of all the swims from Buscot to Grafton to Radcot to Tadpole to Shifford, which can be found at http://sharoncurtis.me.uk/swimming.html I'm afraid they aren't very well balanced of the entire group; my tame photographer (thank you Charles!) is a little biased. But enjoy anyway...! Sharon On Sun, Aug 14, 2011 at 8:09 PM, Ann Chance <ann.chance@swerveaccounting.co.uk> wrote:

well done you guys! (haven't been totally lazy today though - have been down under in gruesome gravel pit in Gloucester again - 2 dive tests (drysuit) and token swim (wetsuit) - water beautifully clear on the surface, and not tooo cold. That - Dee was indeed a most memorable moonlight swim. i smiled though at your description of "an air of silence". I recall that when we got in up at the bridge there were some kids in an off road machine driving wildly around the fields shining a search light into the river. I suspect that when they spotted us (drifting downriver in the dark) they suddenly realised that there were loonies about! Regards Andrew On 5 Sep 2011, at 14:55, Transformation Swimming wrote:
