Hello,
OK, it seems we might be a little crowded if we get too many cars on this small lane, so a slight change of plan for where we meet up.
We'll meet here:
http://www.multimap.com/s/OTzCtMVa
At the Perch and Pike pub car park.
Once we're all here we'll car ferry back to Little Stoke and swim down to South Stoke (it's about a mile or so). Then we can have a drink at the pub. The original plan was to swim to the viaduct (about 1km) and walk back. So this way you swim more, but you walk less AND there is a pub at the end.
I'll aim to get to the Pub car park for around 19:30 but will hang about until 20:00 for late comers. The landlord is very pro-swimmer (he's done a lot of trade out of the OSS over the last year ;) ) so don't worry about getting changed in your wetsuit in the car park, it's quite normal.

I can do tomorrow - went to Dorchester earlier in the year so Little Stoke is a good choice for me.
(Sef, I'm coming up from Reading and live North West of Oxford so can give you a lift back. I could pick you up from Cholsey station if you got the train down.)

And I might make be able to it tomorrow, when lovely Little Stoke would be nearest to me... Temps are nice at the moment and so you can either suit-up or not. I don't have any preference which spot I go to as they are both great , both straight, deep and wide and both suit all levels of swimming. They are easy to get to, to park at and to change at as well. Dorchester on Thames http://www.multimap.com/s/OP5NAFHP This is marked where the lay-by is. Little Stoke http://www.multimap.com/s/jkX7c9vf This is where we would park - there is a track down to the 'Old Dairy' which is a 2 minute walk to the river, it's very secluded and peaceful here. If anyone wants to join me on either day let me know which you prefer, else you'll have to take pot-luck and look for my Green Polo if you turn up on the day. Either way I'll be there between those times. Only reply if you intend coming.
