On July 24th, a group of OSS swimmers plan t...o enjoy an evening swim in the River Nene, from Tansor to Fotheringhay, a distance of approximately 2 1/2 miles. If you should happen to be passing feel free to join us.

We have permission to camp on the riverbank,just past Fotheringhay Castle,( fee to be confirmed), and will no doubt picnic and splash about into the night.

Another swim will be available in the morning for those who wish to do so.

Meet at the campsite at or before 7.30 on the day, car ferry up to the start point and swim back at your leisure. Bring cake and goodies to placate the trolls under Fotheringhay Bridge,(and Dan).
