LinkSYS ethernet card under Linux
I'm trying to get a LinkSYS PCI ethernet card (EtherFast 10/100 Lan Card) working in Linux. According to the instructions it use the tulip driver. I have assigned the tulip driver to the ethernet card, but when the tulip kernel module tries to startup it fails with "Device or resource busy". The machine with this card in is running Mandrake 7.0. Any hints, suggestions to get this ethernet card working? Ashley -- Dr Ashley T. I have one of these cards, but haven't installed it yet though. The one I have has a nice big Linux compatible logo on the front! You may find these pages of use if you haven't already looked at them: http://www.linksys.com/support/support.asp?spid=26 http://www.linksys.com/support/support.asp?spid=25 http://www.linksys.com/support/kb.asp?kbid=116 http://www.scyld.com/network/tulip.html hope these are of help. --- Paul Tansom: Talking to penguins can be inTUXicating, whereas talking to windows is only 1 step away from talking to the wall! --- Smoothwall firewall/router project: http://www.smoothwall.org/ Smoothwall project community contact: community@smoothwall.org
