Thanks for that, unfortunately I tried Freeserve and whilst the 1616 number downloaded into my Windows partition, i was told, (by the call centre operator), to delete it as it was being withdrawn, and woe, woe, its not just BT that's affected by their exchange, Freeserve doesn't work either! Unless 25 attempts to connect, (auto dialed continuously at 35sec. intervals), wasn't a fair trial. John Seago
