Intercepting data from HID (keyboard wedge barcode scanner)
Is this any use? http://www.troz.net/rev/index.irev?category=Utility I used the barcode tester with a wedge some time back to check what exactly the barcode reader was picking up. I also used the Key coder app. I seem to remember having to frame the barcodes with * in Linux, and a different character in Windows, to have them register properly. You might need a copy of livecode to run this, which is free in the open source Community Edition now, from http://livecode.com/download/ Al
