cc is a generic name for the C compiler, still often seen on Sun kit until it has gcc, the GNU C Compiler, installed.

I'm trying to set up a MUSH (rather than a mud) for a friend, and it's a nice little project for me. (Not that I have time outside of work at the mo!)
