PPC Linux stuff for use on a Tivo
Hi, Does anybody know of a small Linux distro that will run on PPC processors? I only need small sections from it like gcc and perl. Reason being, I have a Tivo and I want to add some more functions to it, eg get it to generate a web page that tells me what it's recorded. The only three PPC distros that I'm aware of are LinuxPPC, Yellow Dog and SuSE, although I'm sure there must be others. <DELURK> Can't you just use a cross compiler (I know you can cross compile for MIPs on Intel)? Take a look at the internet user groups for compiling for say the Compaq IPAQ (SH3 based I believe)... I believe if you install the correct libraries, you can compile for most platforms on intel!
