cheap desktops - with ubuntu?
As my desktop video card seems to be 'ill' - i thought i'd take a look at current prices of desktops. Looking on ebuyer i was surprised how cheap they were - #144828. Could buy a new graphics card. They're quite cheap nowadays.

And what is an Ubuntu motherboard? Also. James, what should I have for dinner tonight? ;) You could suggest a dish, but you won't know my food preferences ;) So really you're going about it the wrong way. What would you do with this new machine? Do you have specific requirements? And also how much do you want to spend? If you're looking for general linux compatibility, there are a few websites that could help you out. There's one in particular that you might like, but I can't remember what it is - will have to dig it out of the bookmarks when I get home. It had subsystems listed and nice pie charts. -Srdj
