.Net is yet another way of Microsoft embracing, extending and ultimately consuming the internet.

Well, there are parts of .Net that are sane and sensible, and it doesn't hurt to have another framework for internet application development. I'd rather Free Software did do it and give us interoperability than not, and see Linux pushed away from mainstream again.
