Paging Console Output During Startup
When Mark gave his excellent talk at the Billy Blueboy about system start-up, it was mentioned that there are some Ctrl+ key combinations that allow you to page back and forth through the start up messages. Can anyone remind me what that are? Keith

I think we eventually thought that Ctrl+S or ScrollLock would pause the messages, Ctrl+Q or ScrollLock would unpause, Shift+PgUp or +PgDn would scroll them around. It would be interesting to hear whether we were right, as I've not checked yet and I'm not rebooting now to find out ;-) -- MJR/slef My Opinion Only and possibly not of any group I know. Ctrl+S and Ctrl+Q didn't do anything, but ScrollLock worked fine, as did Shift+PgUp and Shift+PgDn. Works for al consoles, character or X based. Keith
