have armed http://www.armed.net/ dragonl linux http://www.draginlinux.org and peanut http://metalab.unc.edu/peanut I only have experince of Peanut, but its very easy to configure and is only a 60MB download.
Time to get reading the Mandrake and Debian installation guides...
