Thanks Aaron But it is not a hardware fault causing the reboot - I have a kernel module loaded that will crash when fed with specific data, it is repeatable, and will always bring the system down. Found it was down to a null pointer being referenced, so a quick check is made first. A chance to view the oops report first might have made it a little easier to nail. Regards, Paul. P.S.
