This misconception seems common, but Patrick posted to slashdot about it: he knows he's not a doctor, so has not and will not take medication not prescribed by a doctor. Mostly, he seems to be looking for doctors who can confirm(/refute?) his hypothesis after some bad experiences. Sorry if the bulk of that email had been sent before.
