[ALUG] A small victory

Today my desktop PC will change from a Microsoft Windows XP based one to a Linux (Fedora I think) one. Hurrah! On the windows PC I always ran an X server which displayed my Solaris CDE desktop but now I can run a proper 'unix like' system directly on my work machine (like I used to in the more distant past when we all had Sun workstations).
