Aaaaarrrrggggghhhhh!!!!!! It was simple in the end. I needed to look at the camera end, it was asking what sort of USB connection I wanted - GPS, PC or Pictbridge. When I selected PC up popped the contents of the camera on my desktop. (It's a camera with a proper viewfinder so it wasn't glaring me in the face on the back of the camera) -- Chris Green
