I haven't used NTFS in a decade, but do you have a kernel that has the capability to write NTFS? For a long time, NTFS was read-only on Linux.
Kubuntu 11.10 can write to ntfs via the fuse lib. Ones before the ntfs-3g stuff didnt allow anyone (even root) to write to NTFS? Lenny is old? Regards, Srdjan
