Hi I have recently been successful in upgrading my server to Debian unstable and converting some of my ext2 filesystems to ext3. However I haven't converted my "/" or "/boot" partitions as I am unsure that I can reboot successfully. My question then is, what's the best way of converting the "/" partition to ext3? Making sure I can get back in if it doesn't work. I am currently using the standard kernel-image-2.4.17-686-smp package which apparently uses a initrd.img file. Any ideas?
