Hi, As discussed previously, I'm considering effectively renaming CGI::Wiki to Wiki::Toolkit, for the simple reason that the former is quite a misleading name (it has nothing to do with CGI). If I was going to do so, the upcoming developer's release containing Nick's recent work would be the place to do it. So, anyone using CGI::Wiki in whatever context, do you want it to be renamed? Bear in mind the work involved in updating applications to support the new name. I will aim to work on this this coming weekend so answers by then, please. FWIW, since I'm not using CGI::Wiki, but back "then", a few years ago, when I researched different frameworks for my work, I didn't even bother to investigate the CGI:: and HTML:: for the simple reasons that I wasn't going to do CGI and that I didn't want something that was limited or even tuned to outputting HTML. So, I think a rename is a good idea... :-) Cheers, Kjetil -- Kjetil Kjernsmo Programmer / Astrophysicist / Ski-orienteer / Orienteer / Mountaineer kjetil@kjernsmo.net Homepage: http://www.kjetil.kjernsmo.net/ OpenPGP KeyID: 6A6A0BBC

I vote yes on the rename. I use it quite a bit in both OpenGuides and independantly. -Chris

Ditto. I think this can only be a good thing for the project (as we've discussed now and then over the last three years). Thanks in advance, Dom. Earle -- Earle Martin http://downlode.org/ http://purl.org/net/earlemartin/
I too have always thought CGI::Wiki was misleading... My vote would be yes to a rename. M. On 04/04/06, Earle Martin <openguides@downlode.org> wrote:
