FWIW, since I'm not using CGI::Wiki, but back "then", a few years ago, when I researched different frameworks for my work, I didn't even bother to investigate the CGI:: and HTML:: for the simple reasons that I wasn't going to do CGI and that I didn't want something that was limited or even tuned to outputting HTML.
