I got this from the City Library because I thought some yoga would be good for me. The introduction is good, explaining why the physical part of yoga should not be completely separated from the spiritual/mental part, without going over the top and insisting on 3 hours meditation a day.
The book is intended to take 9 months to complete, and you are given freedom to concentrate on your preferred postures, together with guidance as to which work well together.
However, I really wanted a more proscriptive, step-by-step approach, as this is what I've got on well with in the past, so I didn't actually start the programme. If I can't get the book I want (it's called something like The 30-day Yoga Course) soon, I may try this one again.
