[E3-hacking] Getting the E3 Working again

Thanks..😊 You host it on your PC did you say, I am going to be doing that soon, I did it years ago, I use a wampserver on Windows because you install it and works and all I have to do is point it to my outside IP then a domain name and its done then start adding pages, I use to host a forum that way but my internet was to slow, now its not.

Going to host the old Amstrad website from 2004 and Cliff old UK Online site(UK Online was owned by Sky too and they closed it in 2011 the same time Amstrad was close down, that's why Cliff’s site disappeared)Sky buys companies and take there technology and add it to there own and then shut it down,it sound like the Borg to me.. SKY Resistant is Futile… 😊

If you are wondering why I am not using the Amstrad E2(Plus) its because they are rare with the Configuration Change on and I don’t want to ware it out, that why I want to find a way of backing up its firmware, so if the hardware fails, all I need is another E2(Plus) to replace it with.
And I share it here too and then the E2 Plus can be of some use of all the other E2s out there that are deactivated.
Did anyone manage to backup the E2s firmware or hack it at all..?
All I have seen is the E3 hacked to install Linux on..?

It's running on my machine but go ahead and do any updates you think
would make it more useful - the whole point of having it as a wiki was
to make it possible for anyone to update.

(Thanks to spammers the process of registering might be a little tricky,
but let me know if you hit problems.)
