[E3-hacking] About connecting to the serial on the E3

I think this should work, but can't remember if rx & tx are the right way
round. Google TTL-232R-3V3-AJ.
From what I remember there were 2 versions of pbl, one was hacked to allow
a new kernel. The upgraded version was encrypted / required a signed
binary. But Amstrad never released the key.
the kernel on the hacked version was a 2.4 Linux. The community upgraded it
to 2.6 but it wasn't given a front end HMI.
I seem to remember massive incompatibility / a lot of patching to get it
building on the latest version of Linux & busybox at the time (2007).
