  1) How do I use the in-built modem using the preloaded BBC basic?
     is it something like open #1 as ????? as i need to do
     ATD 123456 and then use the modem as a (dumb) terminal. TX and RX
     I know you can do this from the testmenu but more is needed.

  2) How can I save programs in basic? if I use save "xxx" then obvoiusly it
cannot as it is a rom
     but where are the temp web pages held (scratchpad).

  3) Where can I find a html help page for using RISCOS? as I cannot find
anything. I cannot understand the "odd" commands dir-change directory. . -
dir? ===bizzare!

  Also programming  talking to system. Printer etc,etc.

  4) I am getting a ZIP drive(!!!!). Now can I create a bootdisk from
XP,98,95 or somewhere or should I use Linux? Also if I enable the zip drive
I presume I can then save my basic programs? but how then can I format them
for use?

  The box is going to be used as a dumb terminal connected to my PC via a
remote DOS command prompt
  so I can run remote programs check emails etc.

  5) Lastly if anyone has a spare box please let me know....
