some basic questions

Hi all,

I got an IBX100 box a while back, merely because I liked the look of the 
remote, and hoped that I'd be able to put it to use in another application.

I've just taken it off the shelf to start playing around with it, and before 
I start I'd like to know if this device uses IRDA or "consumer" IR...

Anyone know?
