Hi all,
Ive been looking around about linux and the BUshy box. Im not interested in
Riscos really, I want to learn about ARM and linux.
Anyway, looking around, it seems the US market had a device called a WebPal,
which was their version of the bushy box. AGain, it seems to be based quite
closely on the Cirrus logic CL7500 dev system.
There is a much bigger hack base working on the webpal, and they have got linux
2.4 working on it. If anyone is interested, look at this page:-
http://webpal.bigbrd.com/
Slight differences are the SIMM based flash and a few othe bits - the ISA slot
is a nice touch allowing a NIC card to be plugged in straight off.
Sorry if you all new about this.
Cheers for now, Vincent
